WEEK 6 - An Haiku

I was going to not write anything else to continue the bit, but I just wanted to say that this week may have been the longest and shortest week to date and I’m excited to leave for Houston on the 8th. Thank you for the emails recently, I love and miss you all tenderly. Feel free to update me on literally anything or like critique my emails and/or opinions (this is not me begging, by the way).

WEEK 36 and 37 - Tôi Là Người Việt Nam

A lot has happened these past two weeks, so let’s get into it. Richard was baptized. BOOM. Seal Team 6 was expanded. BANG. We now have our own district with us and the Assistants. POW. I love Việt nam. WOW. We have two Vietnamese baptisms happening this weekend. REVOLUTIONARY. Keith got baptized. HOLY. I was sick. OH NO. But now I’m better. WOOO.  Essentially these past two weeks have been a blur. I cannot even begin to recollect what happened but I know things happened. I went to Galveston which was like a dream come true–it reminded me so much of back home it was crazy–and I am going to do anything to get back. WEEK 54 And 55 - The Best Is Yet To Come

I swear I will write a real email for the next three weeks this coming P-Day, so I will have a big lengthy email this next P-Day BUT, here are some updates. -Ricky, who is on date is so excited to be baptized. He came to church 30 minutes early, not for "Johnson or for McArthur" but for himself.  -Elder McArthur is my new companion (that is why there was not an email). -Seal Team 6 Generation 3 is up and running which is crazy -Josiah is so ready for baptism and it turns out that we cannot find his family's records so we may be baptizing like 4 more people with him and the ward wants Ricky to be baptized that same day so we may be having a megs baptism on the 26th. -We have been seeing so many miracles including teaching a Colombian family of 8 -We simultaneously let the family of 8's dog out and lost it, but then also miraculously found it all within the span of 25 minutes and the family will never know they almost lost their dog forever because God is real -Bonnevil...

WEEK 38 - Astros And Áo Dàis

This week was loaded.  Since we’ve been rolling out FaceBook messenger ads (which are essentially where people can directly message our FaceBook pages) we have been talking to a Vietnamese guy named Liem Nguyễn. He’s an older dude, a devout Christian, and he had been spamming us for the past couple of days. He would send us pictures of his religious texts and quote scripture without really talking back to us and actually ended up sending us pictures of the Sách Mặc Môn (Book of Mormon), Giáo Lý và Giao Ước (Doctrine and Covenants), Trân Châu Vô Giá (Pearl of Great Price), which is CRAZY so–through some PI training I developed during my high school Senior Assassin days–I was able to track down where he lived and we decided to pull up on him (after he had invited us to come talk to him without giving us a phone number or a house address).
