WEEK 21 - I'm Alive

Don’t fret, I’m alive. The tornado/storm/whatever you want to call it just barely touched Sealy so I was able to experience a small portion of the power that Houston experienced, so please pray for those who were actually experiencing it. Besides that, not much has been happening (which is an understatement because everything has been happening) but I just wanted to make sure you all knew I was alive. And alive in Christ, for that matter. I’ve happened to have been sharing some of my favorite scriptures this past week because a lot of our friends have been struggling, so I’ll share them here. Besides that, I don’t have a ton more to say. I’ve just been putting my head down, grinding, and God has been doing the rest. We have found tons of new people–I’m talking records being broken–and tons of new members which has been such a blessing and I can’t help but thank God for all of it. I love you all and can’t wait for this next week.

“And if men come unto me I will show unto them their weakness. I give unto men weakness that they may be humble; and my grace is sufficient for all men that humble themselves before me; for if they humble themselves before me, and have faith in me, then will I make weak things become strong unto them.” (Ether 12:27)

“And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.” (2 Corinthians 12:9 and 10)
