WEEK 58 - An Apostle's Thumbs Up

Seal Team 6 created a training video for the mission and my mission president sent it to Elder Bednar and Elder Rasband, apostles of the Lord, and Elder Rasband gave it a thumbs up and really enjoyed it. So basically I will be making videos for the church for the rest of my life.


We had an amazing experience with one of our media referrals, Juan Francisco, and his two daughters. We got his referral, visited him 30 minutes later, and fellowshipped him with the members the following day–only after he had been in the US for 18 days. He is elect. Victoria and Nathalia, too. He went as far as preaching the gospel to some people he just met in his apartment complex, sending us her number, and she is even more elect. Her daughter wants to serve a mission, too. Maria and Alejandra have been here for 14 days. We invited all of them to a farewell dinner for one of the sisters in the ward who was going on a mission and they LOVED IT. They came to church the next day with some other Venezuelan members. They are spectacular. 


What else has been happening? We’re about to change the game once again in terms of media referrals. By the end of this month we could be getting 1000 referrals a day. So, we’re gearing up to train the missionaries and continue training them so that we can ensure to be the most effective missionaries that we possibly can be. 


I think that kids might be the most favorite people that I’ve gotten to teach on my mission, and I get to keep teaching more of them! There is a little girl in a part-member, inactive family, named Isabel that only speaks English but her grandparents only want to take her to Spanish church and won’t take her to English church, but the Lord has been blessing us with other 9 and 10 year olds that can be her friend and fellowship her–it’s awesome. 


We also threw a birthday party for Yureny and it was so cool.


I love missionary work. The hermanas in the ward call me Elderito. Bye.

Well, well, well. Look what we have here. He’s back. Basically, I have been indisposed for the past 8 weeks and have been working my butt off for the Lord. I have seen so many miracles over the past 8 weeks, so many souls coming unto Jesus Christ, and so much change. My mission is here to prepare me for the rest of my life, which involves leading teams of content creators to create a vision that will change people’s lives (this vision just happens to be our missionary purpose), and it is directly setting me up for the future.
